Halloween Decorations!

Now, most of us in the horror atmosphere and who absolutely love Halloween have probably already started decorating our homes with creepy stuff. I know I have! Last night, we listened to some Halloween music and started decorating with the leftovers we had from last year. Have you started decorating yet?

Check out some of these pictures of our Halloween decorations so far!

Have you got any decorations up yet? Send me some pictures to me at rhfang.totallyhorror@gmail.com! Can’t wait to see them!

Halloween was awesome. I enjoyed scaring the crap out of kids. It sucks that it only comes one time a year. I miss it already!

This year I bought a long black cloak that came with a hood that no one could see through, and put a mask over my face just to make it creepy! Then I put the bowl of candy in my lap and stood completely still and waited. One kid came up to me and said “I’m not afraid of anything!” he reached for some candy I popped up and he went running into the bushes and got then kept running! That was my favorite one!

We had the best Halloween decorations in my entire neighborhood! We also had scary music playing in the background. It was a great Halloween. Next year, we need to top this year and do something really scary!

’11-11-11′ Preview

’11-11-11′ is an upcoming film that is set on 11:11 on the 11th day of the 11th month and concerning a entity from another world that enters the earthly realm through Heaven’s 11th gate.

This film is written and directed by the genius behind some of the the ‘Saw‘ movies, Darren Lynn Bousman. Seeing that ’11-11-11′ is written and directed by him, this film is going to be a horror legend! A few people who have seen the trailer say the film looks like a load of crap. A few other viewers say it’s going to be great. If I could judge the film by it’s trailer, I’d say it looks quite interesting and slightly scary.

Writer/director says they finished POST PRODUCTION in June of 2011! He also says that the film will be the scariest one by him so far.

Shockingly, the film will be in theaters on the 11th day of the 11th month of 2011! Here’s the trailer so you can judge.

‘The Walking Dead’ S2 – What Lies Ahead Review

After a year off the air, ‘The Walking Dead’ season 2 has finally arrived. ‘The Walking Dead‘ season two premiered Sunday October 16th @9pmE. I read a few of the comic books and  just started watching ‘The Walking Dead‘ series on AMC exactly five hours before the new season premiered. I was shocked! I didn’t think the series would be as good as it is.

I think there are three main things that every zombie movie/TV show should have and that is great zombie makeup and special affects, great acting, and great writing. And I feel that ‘The Walking Dead’ has those three things. Which is why it is as successful as it is today!

The new season had a great start! The first few scenes were quite emotional yet awesome.

About 10 minutes in, the crisis starts to get worse and worse for the gang. First they get stuck on a highway with cars that have rotting corpses instead of a living driver and passengers. Which, as you know, is never a good thing in a zombie apocalypse show like this one. And that’s when the episode kicks off.

Suddenly, a wave of drooling, moaning, slow zombies start walking through the abandoned highway. The protagonist, Rick Grimes notices one zombie at first and knows that something bad is going to happen. It was pretty obvious. And then as Andrea was putting together her pistol, you see the zombies out of the interior window. But she doesn’t notice it! Which I thought was pretty cool. The cinematography is always epic in ‘The Walking Dead‘.

The season premiere was awesome, scary, gorey, and well-written! This season is off to a great start. Watch ‘The Walking Dead‘ Sundays at 9pm/8pm Central on AMC.

Horror Games – BIG FISH GAMES, Phantasmat Review

By: RHfang

Being a lover of horror, I enjoy playing many of the computer adventure and horror games,  especially the ones that blend multiple game modes and have scary concepts! Like my overall favorite horror game, ‘Phantasmat’, a game full of mystery and dark secrets. Each place you visit is a keeper of some story, each character has something to hide. It’s up to you to discover all of the game’s mysteries.

‘Phantasmat’ is a creepy, disturbing, and fun game to play! When you start to play this game, you suddenly get stuck in it, and you can’t stop playing! What makes this scary game so scary are the places, the characters, and most of all the story. One of these scary places is the main one you’ll see throughout the game which is the “Drowned Dead Hotel”. This place is just  creepy. Not only the interior, but the exterior too! When you walk up to this-what it seems haunted house- it looks like there is a wrinkly scary old lady staring down at you from the window!

When you first enter the Hotel, you are creepily greeted by the Hotel Owner who whenever you’re around, you get the chills!

Current Drowned Dead Hotel’s manager is a distinguished charismatic man, and a walking mystery. Nobody knows anything about his origins, but for some reason he never left the town after the dam disaster and successfully runs the hotel to this day. Seemingly elegant, polite and glib, he clearly has an edge to his personality, that he would prefer to remain hidden.

Before you meet the Hotel Owner, you meet a young lady who supposedly is trying to help you, but makes things slightly worse.

The girl came to the town to find some seasonal work and got hired as an assistant in the hotel. After the flood, she decided to stay at the hotel for some personal reasons.

When you first meet her, you get an uneasy feeling about her. The way she moves, talks, and goes about just isn’t normal in some way that you can’t put your finger on! She is really kind, but really rushed. Notice in the picture to the right she wears old-time clothes. As if she worked as a governess in the past…

But in the end, you’ll find she has a shocking secret!

Last but not least, we have the creepy old lady (Below). She may look like she just came from Michael Jackon’s Thriller music video, but she is a very important character in “Phantasmat”. She’s like one of those old creepy gypsy ladies. In some parts of the game, she has this tea that can tell the future! And in the end, like every character in “Phantasmat”, she has a shocking secret!

‘Insidious’ Sequel?

Producer Jason Blum has hinted that a sequel to the horror film ‘Insidious’ may be in development.

‘Insidious’ centers on a family who must stop their comatose child being from trapped in a paranormal realm called ‘The Further’.

“If (producer) Leigh (Whannell) comes up with a story that’s inventive and you feel like there’s a story to tell – as opposed to, ‘Let’s make another movie and make money’ – and he comes up with something (director) James (Wan) feels is worth making we would do it. And if Leigh doesn’t, we won’t.” he tells Shock Till You Drop.

If you have seen the film fully, than you know that end the end/climax of the film, it shows the father (Patrick Wilson) being taken over by the old lady parasite, and him choking down the psychic lady. Which obviously looks like they are developing a sequel. If they did make a sequel, it would probably focus more on what happens after the parasite takes over the father.

However, Blum also made clear that there is “no plan” or release date set for a possible sequel. But if there is or ever will be, I’ll be waiting for it!

Teen Wolf Review

‘Teen Wolf’ is a horror/drama/fantasy series on MTV about a somewhat awkward teen named Scott is attacked by a werewolf and inherits the curse itself, as well as the enemies that come with it. Before I started watching the MTV series ‘Teen Wolf’, I watched the 80’s film, ‘Teen Wolf’ starring Michael J. Fox which is kind of the same thing, but a slight difference. In the 80’s version, Scott’s last name is different, and the way he became a werewolf was through his family.

Teen Wolf the 2011 series is more horrifying and dramatic, while the movie was more comedy and family friendly. But I believe the series is based off of the movie.

‘Teen Wolf’ the series is like another version of ‘True Blood’, but made for teens and is all about werewolves and not vampires. There isn’t many special affects in ‘Teen Wolf’ the series, but when there are, they are really good! In the last episode of season 1, the alpha werewolf looks amazing! He is muscular, furry, and looks like a traditional werewolf.

‘Teen Wolf’ is now one of my favorite shows! Season 1 ends with a bang! I don’t wanna spoil anything for you, though. I can’t wait for season 2!
