Upcoming September 2015 and I can’t WAIT for this new addition.  I am a long time lover of award-winning author Tananarive Due’s wonderful stories, especially the amazing African Immortals tales. I was THRILLED to learn via her page (tananarivedue.com) of this up and coming book.

Due’s upcoming work titled GHOST SUMMER is set to be released on September 15th, and Publishers Weekly had some great things to say about it.  Of course, PW can never say it as eloquently as I will, once I read what promises to be a fabulous book.

These stories complete the pantheon of multi-ethnic horror literature, without which I couldn’t have become Horrorcrone. While I wait for this book of short stories to drop, I will update the Totally Horror site with reviews of some of Ms. Due’s great tales. Please let me know your thoughts about her books.  I look forward to hearing from you.

New “Amityville Horror” movie in the making!

Yes, the title is not a trick of the eye. Coming in January of 2014 and directed by David Bruckner, The Amityville Horror: The Lost Tapes. The release date of this film has been changed. In December, Dimension films announced that they hope to have the film done in time to have a January 3rd release date… But, who knows. This could change.

Taking place in the late 70’s, The Lost Tapes gives you a look of the horrors that occurred after the original book and movie. An ambitious female television news intern, on the verge of breaking the most famous haunted house case in the world, leads a team of journalists, clergymen and paranormal researchers into an investigation of the bizarre events that will come to be known as The Amityville Horror… only to unwittingly open a door to the unreal that she may never be able to close.
